Getting Your Indian Visa

All guests should check if they require a visa to enter India.

For Singaporeans, a visa is required.

You can apply online via India’s official e-visa portal, the entire application process takes around 15 minutes.

The approval process typically takes 24 to 72 hours, but we recommend applying at least a month in advance in case of delays.

The cost of the tourist visa is USD 25. You may apply for a one-year or five-year tourist visa, both cost the same. Please refer to the official portal for the most updated information.

Once you’ve confirmed your journey with us, we will guide you through the visa application process.

You will need to prepare:

  • A PDF copy of your passport biodata page (with at least 6 months’ validity)

  • A JPG of your passport-size photo

Getting Your Sikkim Permit

In addition to your Indian visa, foreign nationals are required to obtain an Inner Line Permit (ILP) to enter Sikkim.

The ILP is free of charge and easily obtainable at either Rangpo or Melli checkpost. Your driver will stop at the checkpost for you to apply for the ILP.

You will need to prepare:

  • Original passport

  • One passport-size photo

  • A photocopy of your passport biodata page

  • A photocopy of your granted e-visa page

At the checkpost, you will also need to photocopy the e-visa stamp that was placed in your passport by Indian immigration authorities when you entered the country.

The process is usually very quick and fuss-free, just make sure you have all the required documents ready in your carry-on bag.
